Brochure Design for Demolition Contractor

General Demolition asked Liven Creative to help better convey what they do, develop the look and feel of their brand, and overhaul their corporate brochure.

General Demolition is based in Surrey, and has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. Its services include Demolition, Stripout, Recycling and Structural Modifications, to name a few.

Building on General Demolition visual heritage

Previous General Demolition collateral featured the colour red, along with a chevron mark – a common warning symbol in the construction industry. Taking inspiration from this, we developed an angular, chevron-inspired theme for the brochure, which we then used in a variety of ways to highlight content and give greater brand association to images and how titles were conveyed. We used General Demolition’s primary red colour throughout.

The cover introduces the strong new visual theme, with a dynamic chevron spot UV and diecut.

We provided expert copywriting for all of General Demolition’s brochure content, helping them define their services, their approach to working with clients, and their emphasis on protecting the environment.
